Sarah Bostwick is a Northern Michigan artist who's acrylic and oil paintings celebrate landscapes, wildlife, beloved pets, and stories woven throughout the natural world. With a background in fine art and painting, she combines strong composition and thoughtful color to create pieces that feel both familiar and full of discovery.

Her paintings begin with loose brushwork, toned underpaintings, and simple shapes that gradually evolve through layers of color and texture. As each piece develops, unexpected hues and subtle details emerge, inviting viewers to pause, explore, and experience the scene through the artists eyes.

Inspired by the unique bond between people and animals, Sarah especially enjoys creating custom pet portraits that capture the personality and spirit of each cherished companion. She is currently accepting commissions for pet portraits.

Sarah lives in beautiful Northern Michigan with her husband, John, and their rescue dog, Carson, where the surrounding landscapes and wildlife continue to inspire her work.
